During the summer of 2010 Mrs. Allen enjoyed a summer at Long Lake Camp for the Arts where she spent time choreographing for the dance performances and musicals including Ruthless, Dear Edwina and Once on this Island

From 2012-2015 Mrs. Allen was a teaching artist at Colby College in Waterville, ME teaching beginning through advanced ballet technique. In addition she taught at areas schools, ages 3-18, ballet, pointe, variations, tap, contemporary, and pre-dance.

After a brief one year break to become a Mother and spend time with her daughter, Mrs. Allen returned to teaching and spent two semesters at Northern Essex Community College teaching Ballet, with the arrival of her son following shortly.

While ballet and dance is her passion, she has found a growing desire to reach more people through fitness. She has developed her own style of Barre fitness that truly envelopes dance technique while maintaining a fun, engaging, and challenging fitness atmosphere. In 2018 Mrs. Allen attended the American College Dance Association conference, held at Boston University where she taught Barre to dancers from the New England region and beyond.

Olivia is excited to be embarking on this great new adventure with Olivia Allen Dance & Fitness and hopes that as a Mom, dance teacher, and fitness coach, the studio can grow with her family.
She will be offering a wide range of options from Barre fitness to adult ballet, step, bootcamp and mommy & me classes. Beginning March 2020.
