Ballet 101, a Beginner Ballet Course
- Beginning Adult Ballet is for beginner dancers, or dancers wanting to fine tune their technique and get back to the basics. This one hour class over a series of weeks, will begin from the ground up. What is 1st position? What is a plié? Come learn the basics through proper alignment, technique and vocabulary while creating a fun and engaging atmosphere exploring ballet technique.
- *Session length varies by season. 8, 10, 12 weeks have been taught in the past.
- Rates vary depending on session length.
Content Library Class Descriptions:
- Power Hour 45 minutes of strength training. Train in intervals covering all your major muscle groups. Medium to heavy weights recommended. All exercises can be done with dumbbells or a barbell.
- Pump It Up!
- Step Up!
* Step Up/Power Hour Combo is 20 minutes of Step up and 25 minutes of Power Hour.
- Barre
* Barre + Flow combines Barre and Sunrise Flow in a 55 minute class.
- HIIT Cardio/Core
- Sunrise Flow
*55 minute format includes 5 minute meditation, check the schedule for current classes.
* Barre + Flow combines Barre and Sunrise Flow in a 55 minute class.
- Sunrise Yoga
- This class is not currently offered on the schedule. It will be added if enough interest is expressed.
